The project is located in the Bcons City Life complex urban area covering over 15 hectares on To Huu Street, a gateway connecting industrial and service centers of the Southern key economic region. The social housing subdivision is built on an area of 6,667 square meters, including two 15-story blocks and a basement. The total investment for the entire complex is over 1,600 billion VND, of which the social housing category accounts for about 700 billion VND.
According to the investor, the project provides 802 apartments with areas ranging from 31 to 51 square meters, targeting workers and first-time homebuyers. The residential area is equipped with amenities such as community living spaces, parking lots, a commercial service block, and green areas.
On the same day, Bcons also started construction of B.School within the urban area. The facility is synchronously planned with the residential area to meet the educational needs of the residents.
Mr. Le Nhu Thach, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bcons Group, stated that the enterprise plans to continue implementing another social housing project in September. According to its commitment to Ho Chi Minh City, Bcons will participate in developing 10,000 social housing units in the city in the coming time.
After expanding its boundaries and forming a new development space, Ho Chi Minh City concentrates many industrial parks and export processing zones with a massive labor force. However, the majority of workers and young people still have to rent rooms or cannot afford commercial housing. The project is implemented in the context that Ho Chi Minh City is accelerating the development of social housing to complete the goal of nearly 200,000 units by 2030 as assigned by the Government.
According to the housing development plan for the 2025-2030 period, the city is accelerating the implementation of many new projects, striving to complete and exceed the target of nearly 200,000 social housing units assigned by the Government. This is considered one of the important solutions to solve the housing problem for low-income earners, while creating a foundation for sustainable development for the country’s largest city.
