Trump International Hung Yen project allocated nearly 81 more hectares of land – VnExpress

According to the decision of the Hung Yen Provincial People’s Committee, Hung Yen Investment and Development Group Joint Stock Company, a subsidiary of Kinh Bac, is allocated and leased 80.6 hectares of land in Chau Ninh commune (formerly in Khoai Chau district). This is the second time the enterprise has been allocated land to build the Khoai Chau urban, eco-tourism, and golf complex (commercial name: Trump International Hung Yen).

Of the more than 80 hectares, land for building sports facilities accounts for 86% with 70 hectares, while the rest is for commercial services (5.7 hectares), parking lots (2.1 hectares), roads (1.3 hectares), and technical infrastructure (1.4 hectares).

For commercial service land, sports facilities construction, and parking lots, the enterprise will pay annual land rent. As for infrastructure, technical, and road land, no land use fees will be collected, and the investor will hand it back to the locality upon completion. The land use term is until May 15, 2075.

The Chau Ninh Commune People’s Committee will monitor the land use and project construction progress. The Hung Yen Provincial Tax Department is assigned to determine the financial obligations of the investor.

The Trump International Hung Yen project has a total planned area of more than 888 hectares, located in the three communes of Chau Ninh, Khoai Chau, and Chi Minh. The total investment is about 1.5 billion USD. The investor is a subsidiary of Kinh Bac (KBC) with an 85% charter capital ownership ratio. The project is implemented through a partnership with The Trump Organization, under the commercial name Trump International Hung Yen.

According to the plan, the project consists of 4 subdivisions, including two ecological residential areas attached to a high-end golf course and an ecological golf course with a population scale of 3,500 and 1,800 people, respectively. A commercial service urban area (29,700 people), and the rest is greenery and theme parks.

The golf course category is planned on an area of more than 240 hectares with 54 holes, including a 36-hole and an 18-hole course. In addition, the project also has 7.3 hectares of land allocated for social housing development and a 99-hectare theme park.

At the groundbreaking ceremony in late May 2025, the son of the US President, Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of The Trump Organization, said the project is expected to be completed in more than 2 years, with the goal of becoming a large-scale golf course in the region and the world.
