BRG wants to develop a nearly 1,000-hectare project in Hung Yen

BRG Group has proposed investing in 3 projects in Hung Yen, including an international festival city covering nearly 1,000 hectares in Son Nam Ward.

The People’s Committee of Hung Yen Province had a working session with BRG Group regarding the investment orientation for several projects on the afternoon of June 23. A representative of the group stated that they plan to study 3 projects with a total scale of nearly 1,270 hectares in the central area of the old Hung Yen City.

The projects include an 18-hectare central square, a nearly 250-hectare knowledge urban area in Pho Hien Ward, and a nearly 1,000-hectare international festival city in Son Nam Ward. The goal is to create new development spaces, promote investment attraction, develop services and commerce, and enhance the local cultural and tourism values.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen requested specialized agencies to continue discussing carefully with the investor about the planning, feasibility, and implementation roadmap of the projects in the coming time.

The BRG representative said the unit will continue to perfect the proposal towards feasibility, harmonizing economic development goals with the preservation of local culture.

BRG is one of the multi-industry conglomerates in Vietnam, operating in fields such as finance, banking, real estate, and retail. This enterprise is part of the joint venture investing in the North Hanoi Smart City project, which spans over 270 hectares with a total investment of 4.2 billion USD.
