Multi-million pound mansions of England national team stars

Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham own high-end homes that share common features: multiple amenities, fitness recovery spaces, and high privacy requirements.

England national team player Harry Kane has a fairly clear real estate investment strategy compared to many English players of his generation. The Bayern Munich striker is named in the investment company Edward James Investments Limited, established in 2015 in the UK. Kane’s real estate company has assets of around 15 million pounds, along with 2.2 million pounds in cash. This is considered Kane’s property investment portfolio, separate from his playing income, image rights, and advertising contracts.

Kane’s most notable property is currently located in Wentworth Estate, Surrey – a high-end residential area where many businesspeople, athletes, and celebrities have lived. The mansion, worth around 20 million pounds, is designed in the Neo-Georgian style and has been compared to Buckingham Palace by local residents. Kane is believed to have purchased the land and the old house for 6.5 million pounds in 2023, then demolished it to build a new one instead of renovating.

The underground space is a highlight of the mansion. Planning records show the house has a garage for 5 cars, complete with a turntable worth about 20,000 pounds to assist with moving vehicles in and out. The basement is also arranged as a private entertainment and fitness recovery area, including a cinema, swimming pool, bar, treatment room, and gym. The main living area has 4 bedrooms for Kane’s family, along with 2 self-contained rooms for live-in staff.

Jude Bellingham

In Madrid, Jude Bellingham invested 32 million euros in two adjacent villas, one for himself and one for his mother Denise in La Moraleja, an upscale residential area in the north of the Spanish capital. Each villa is valued at around 16 million euros. The villas are located next to the Real Club de Golf de La Moraleja, one of the famous golf courses in Madrid.

Each villa has a built area of over 1,000 square meters, consisting of 3 floors and an elevator. The plots are around 3,000 square meters, with the outdoor garden taking up more than 2,000 square meters. Each property has 7 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, and 4 parking spaces.

The amenities are designed to the high-end standards of sports professionals. Each villa features an outdoor pool, an indoor pool, a sauna, a spa, a gym, a private wine cellar, and a cinema room. The gym is set up so Bellingham can train outside of Real Madrid’s Valdebebas training center.

In addition to Madrid, Bellingham also has a housing project in Barnt Green, Worcestershire, near Birmingham (UK). On this land, two houses are being built with a total value of around 7 million pounds. The main house in Barnt Green has 5 bedrooms, 4 floors, with the basement including a cinema, swimming pool, sauna, gym, and an entertainment area with a bar. The second house has a similar design, also featuring 5 bedrooms.

British media reports that one house is for Bellingham and the other is for his parents. The Barnt Green area is known as an upscale residential neighborhood where many football players and businesspeople live.

Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford is also a prominent player in real estate investment. He has served as a director at MUCS Properties Limited since 2017. Currently, the company manages 11 investment properties in Manchester, with assets worth around 8.2 million pounds.

Rashford’s most notable personal project is located on a former 9-hole golf course in Mobberley, Cheshire (UK). Rashford purchased the land and clubhouse in 2020 for 2.25 million pounds, then planned to demolish the clubhouse to build a 5-bedroom house. The land covers 63 acres, equivalent to about 255,000 square meters.

According to descriptions in the British media, the new house will feature an indoor pool, a gym, a game room, a relaxation area, and a separate annex on the property. This project has not been completed after several years. While the exterior is finished and the building has two basement levels, progress has been slow due to rising costs, flooding, and design changes.

Rashford must maintain the surrounding landscape for 25 years, including mowing the lawn 14 times a year, caring for the surrounding woodland, and creating meadows for wildlife. The maintenance cost for the land was once estimated at a minimum of 150,000 pounds per year.

Jordan Pickford

Jordan Pickford, the England and Everton goalkeeper, bought a 5.7 million pound Georgian-style mansion on a 2.5-acre plot in Cheshire (UK). Located on Chelford Road, the property was built in 1860, features 8 bedrooms, and has formally landscaped grounds.

The mansion features a grand hall, a wide staircase, an elaborately decorated indoor pool, and a 4-car garage. The property previously hosted Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, and King Charles – then the Prince of Wales – during past stays. These visits took place at the invitation of the former owner Sebastian de Ferranti, chairman of an electronics company and a close friend of Prince Philip.
