Hai Phong allows Vinhomes to sell low-rise houses at Trang Cat project

284 low-rise commercial houses at Vinhomes’ Happy Home Trang Cat project are eligible for sale.

According to the decision of the Hai Phong Department of Construction, future low-rise commercial houses in the Happy Home Trang Cat social housing project in Hai An Ward (formerly Trang Cat Ward, Hai An District) are permitted to be put on the market.

Specifically, among the 284 future low-rise commercial houses approved for sale, there are 256 townhouses with land areas ranging from 75 sq m to over 130 sq m. The remaining 28 are villas on 150 sq m land plots, with a total construction floor area of 333.4 sq m.

The Hai Phong Department of Construction also confirmed that Vinhomes, the developer of the Happy Home Trang Cat project, has completed the corresponding technical infrastructure according to schedule. According to the department, the developer commits that at the time of signing the sales contracts, the houses are not mortgaged and comply fully with the provisions of the Law on Housing.

The publication of the list of future houses eligible for sale aims to ensure openness and transparency of information in the real estate market. This provides a basis for citizens to check the legal status of the products before making transactions.

Vinhomes started implementing the Happy Home project in Hai Phong in early 2024 with a total investment of over 5,800 billion VND. The project’s planned area is about 33 hectares, of which social housing land accounts for more than 11 hectares. Upon completion, the project can supply more than 3,800 social housing units to the market. This is also the project with the largest number of social housing units in the port city currently.

Since last year, the Hai Phong Department of Construction has allowed Vinhomes to open sales three times in three phases, with a total of 3,804 social housing units in this project. The selling price of social housing here ranges from 21.2 to 23.9 million VND per square meter (including VAT, excluding maintenance fees and the K-coefficient based on apartment location).
