Urban railway unlocks connectivity potential for the western gateway of Ho Chi Minh City – VnExpress

This metro line was included in the Long An provincial planning for the 2021-2030 period, approved in 2023, and then reaffirmed in the approval of the Tay Ninh provincial planning early this year.

The Tan An – Hung Nhon Metro is planned to connect directly with the Ho Chi Minh City metro network. When this system is implemented synchronously, areas with intersecting traffic routes such as My Yen commune (in Ben Luc district, Long An province) can become one of the connecting points between Ho Chi Minh City and the western vicinity.
