The Management Board of Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones has just received a dossier requesting approval for investment guidelines and simultaneous approval of the industrial park investor from WHA Industrial Development International Corporation.
The project is located west of the expressway section passing through the former Thang Binh District, Quang Nam Province (now Dong Duong and Thang Binh communes). This location borders National Highway 14E and the 500kV power line corridor.
The land use scale of the project is about 400 hectares, of which industrial and warehouse land accounts for nearly 70 percent, while the rest is allocated for green spaces, service areas, parking lots, and traffic roads. The operation period will not exceed 50 years from the date of land handover.
The project is oriented to become a multi-sector industrial park, prioritizing clean industries and the application of smart technologies in management and operation.
WHA Corporation is an industrial developer from Thailand. The enterprise entered Vietnam in 2017 with its first project in Nghi Loc, Nghe An, covering nearly 1,900 hectares. WHA also invested in the WHA Smart Technology industrial park, spanning nearly 180 hectares with a total capital of 55 million USD in Thanh Hoa.
From July 1, 2025, Da Nang will merge with Quang Nam under the name Da Nang. The new city is evaluated to have many advantages in attracting investment in industry, services, seaports, urban development, and resort tourism. In the first four months of the year, the locality attracted nearly 238 million USD in registered FDI capital, doubling the figure from the same period last year.
