The 7.3-hectare water stage located in the Festival Island subdivision is the venue for nightly art performances and fireworks, expected to boost the night economy of South Nha Trang.
According to the plan, the 7.3-hectare water stage is located at the center of the Festival Island subdivision (116 hectares), within the Charmora City megacity. The project is designed to become a space for outdoor art performances such as musical fountains, light shows, mapping, jetski, flyboard, and fireworks.
The developer stated that the development of this entertainment complex aims to enhance visitor experiences while adding products to serve the night economy, supporting Khanh Hoa’s goal of welcoming 33 million visitors and reaching 9 billion USD in revenue by 2030.

These performance programs follow global trends. According to Sun Group, large-scale water-based art performances are always a strategic piece to position the brand of a destination. From the musical fountains of the Bellagio casino (Las Vegas), the light shows at Marina Bay (Singapore) to real-scene shows along major rivers in China, using water as a medium for artistic performance helps stimulate the senses and creates momentum for commerce and tourism in the surrounding area.
Mr. Hoang Khanh, who has settled and invested in the coastal city for the past 5 years, assessed that the model of Charmora City could help fill the gap in nightlife entertainment. Therefore, he decided to invest in an apartment.
“Festival Island is the coordinates that will attract tourists for nighttime experiences in the future. Investing in an apartment here, you only need to step down to the lobby to immediately access the vibrant central utility chain,” the investor shared.

Festival Island is planned as the commercial, service, and entertainment core of the entire 227-hectare Charmora City urban area. The subdivision is bordered on four sides by the Quan Truong and Tac rivers, connecting with a lakeside promenade over 2 km long, commercial streets, food courts, and a night market. Here, every evening, visitors can stroll along the lake, experience local cuisine, immerse themselves in the shopping atmosphere, or enjoy art performances combined with fireworks.
According to the developer, the performance activities are expected to help attract staying guests and increase their experience time in the area.
A representative of Sun Group said that this model inherits the experience of organizing performances at several destinations previously developed by the enterprise, such as Phu Quoc and Cat Ba. A prime example is the strategic cooperation with two partners, H2O Events and LaserVision, to produce a series of shows such as the Green Island Symphony, which achieved a double Guinness World Record, and Symphony of the Sea, making Phu Quoc an island with two fireworks displays every night.

According to Mr. Shannon Brooks, Director of LaserVision, combining performance technology with open space helps enhance the visitor experience at tourist destinations. At the same time, he also highly appreciated Sun Group for pioneering the redefinition of the boundaries of performance art and technology to create entertainment experiences.
In parallel with the central stage area, the developer is developing The Fest serviced apartment subdivision to meet the accommodation needs of visitors to Festival Island. The Fest consists of three towers with various apartment types, including a large proportion of studio apartments. The project is equipped with internal amenities such as a swimming pool of about 1,400 square meters, green spaces, a community house, a clubhouse, and a series of health care and entertainment facilities.

A representative of the developer Sun Property (a member of Sun Group) said that the location of the subdivision allows residents and visitors direct access to the performance area, commercial streets, and lakeside promenade, opening up profitable business opportunities.
In addition, the simultaneous investment in accommodation infrastructure, commerce, and performance spaces also aims to gradually form an ecosystem serving tourism and the night economy in South Nha Trang.
