On July 6, Novaland and Ho Team (Taiwan) commenced the construction of the first low-rise residential area in the Phoenix South subdivision of Phoenix Island, marking the beginning of their cooperation at Aqua City.
The groundbreaking ceremony is considered by Novaland as an important milestone in the roadmap to accelerate the completion of the mega township, marking a step forward in expanding Aqua City’s cooperation with financially strong international contracting partners.

Ho Team Construction Co., Ltd. has been operating in Vietnam for over 20 years and has participated in deploying more than 300 projects and 1,000 factories. With practical experience, along with capabilities in consulting, architectural design, project management, construction, and financial strength, the unit is expected to contribute additional resources to the completion of major packages at Aqua City.
Leaders of this enterprise also hold various positions in the Taiwanese business network. Therefore, the cooperation also opens up opportunities to connect Aqua City with many Taiwanese businesses, contractors, suppliers, and customers interested in the Vietnamese market.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Jian Zhi Ming, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ho Team, said that they would mobilize maximum resources and organize synchronized construction to ensure progress, quality, and safety to complete the package within 9 months.
Mr. Minh also emphasized the importance of the package, which serves as the starting point for the cooperation between the two sides. “We have prepared sufficient human resources, equipment, and construction plans to deploy items synchronously, determined to complete the project on schedule, ensuring quality and safety,” Mr. Jian Zhi Ming affirmed.

Mr. Cao Tran Duy Nam, Deputy General Director of Novaland Group, said that Aqua City has been dedicatedly invested in and developed by the group with the orientation of becoming a livable riverside ecological mega township. The project is also a leading entertainment and recreation destination in the region and represents the modern urban development strategy of Dong Nai.
On a scale of 1,000 hectares, Aqua City dedicates over 70% of its area to green spaces, transportation infrastructure, and synchronized internal utilities. Upon completion, the township is expected to be home and workplace to over 60,000 residents, welcoming the trend of migration of residents and experts from Ho Chi Minh City and the Southeast region. Among these, Phoenix Island is one of the subdivisions possessing the most prime locations in Aqua City.
“We believe that with close coordination and determination, the 346 low-rise houses will be constructed on schedule, ensuring quality, step-by-step realizing the high-class living space that Aqua City commits to bring,” Mr. Cao Tran Duy Nam said.
Attending the event, Mr. Han Kuo-Yao, Director General of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City, highly appreciated the planning and development orientation of Aqua City. He expressed his impression of the scale, methodical planning, and ecological space of Aqua City.
“In the context of rapidly developing regional infrastructure, the project has great potential to become an attractive residential and business choice for the Taiwanese business community and citizens in Vietnam,” Mr. Han Kuo-Yao said.
Not only Phoenix South, but many other subdivisions of Aqua City such as River Park 1-2, Ever Green 2-3, Sun Harbor 1-3, and areas belonging to Phoenix Island are also being deployed simultaneously. Across the construction site, about 4,000 engineers, technical staff, and workers are working continuously at multiple construction fronts, from transportation infrastructure, landscaping, and utility systems to residential areas.
Parallel to construction activities, Aqua City is also step-by-step completing its urban appearance. The developer said that to date, it has handed over more than 1,200 townhouses and villas to customers, and many residents have moved in to live.

In the context of the infrastructure in the eastern area of Ho Chi Minh City continuing to receive strong investment, along with the simultaneous acceleration of construction, Aqua City is step-by-step realizing the appearance of a large-scale ecological mega township, ready to welcome residents, investors, and the business community.
