Hanoi to get over 2,000 more social housing units

The Tien Duong 2 social housing project in Phuc Thinh commune, spanning nearly 40 hectares, is expected to start construction at the end of July.

The first phase of the project has a total investment capital of nearly 3,000 billion VND with 2,075 social housing units, accommodating about 8,300 residents. The construction is scheduled to start on July 30.

The project is invested by a joint venture between Saigon – Bac Giang Industrial Park Joint Stock Company and Evergreen Bac Giang Sustainable Development Investment Joint Stock Company.

Located on Vo Nguyen Giap road along the Nhat Tan – Noi Bai urban corridor, the project benefits from excellent connectivity to central Hanoi via Nhat Tan Bridge, Noi Bai International Airport, and neighboring areas through the Dong Tru Bridge and the planned Tu Lien Bridge system. This location is expected to help the project meet the housing demand of experts, workers, and young families in the northern area of Hanoi.

According to a representative of the developer joint venture, Tien Duong 2 is developed under the Evergreen Premium orientation – the social housing product line of the Evergreen brand, focusing on synchronous planning and utility systems to improve the quality of life for residents.

The project aims to develop a synchronized urban area in terms of technical and social infrastructure, featuring a school system of all levels, commercial and service centers, green parks, a multi-functional sports area, swimming pools, a community house, parking lots, and other amenities serving residents.

In addition to the internal utilities, the project also connects with existing and upcoming developments in the northern area of Hanoi, such as Kim Quy Park, international hospitals, a new administrative center, and large-scale shopping complexes.

According to the plan, the project will be implemented from 2024 to 2030, with an operation period of 50 years. The business representative stated that the development of Tien Duong 2 aims to continue realizing the orientation of investing in systematically planned social housing areas, contributing to the implementation of the project Investment and construction of at least one million social housing apartments by 2030.
