Saigon LightHouse broke ground with a total investment of nearly 120 million USD – VnExpress Newspaper

Saigon LightHouse broke ground on July 7 with a total investment of nearly 120 million USD, expected to be completed and put into use in 2028.

Located on a land area of 5,593.9 square meters, the project has a total floor area of nearly 48,000 square meters, including 38 above-ground floors and 4 basements. Saigon LightHouse is developed by IMG Investment Joint Stock Company and MHL Investment Joint Stock Company at 448 Nguyen Tat Thanh, Xom Chieu Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

Situated on Nguyen Tat Thanh street – a transport route connecting the center with the southern area, the project benefits from the existing transport, commercial, and service infrastructure. According to the developer, Saigon LightHouse was studied to optimize connectivity, meeting real housing demands in line with the urban development orientation of the area.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Le Tu Minh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of IMG Investment Joint Stock Company, said that Saigon LightHouse is not only oriented to become an iconic landmark on Nguyen Tat Thanh street but also aims to provide a modern living space, increasing the value of the gateway to the center of Ho Chi Minh City.

The enterprise aims to develop the project on the foundation of quality, progress, and sustainability. Accordingly, IMG prioritizes selecting capable partners, while strictly controlling the implementation process to ensure that the project is constructed according to design, on schedule, and meets technical standards.

Saigon LightHouse also gathers many experienced domestic and foreign consulting units. Among them, P&T Group is in charge of facade design, while Indochine Engineering is responsible for structural design and mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems.

Within the framework of the event, IMG and BIDV signed a credit sponsorship contract with a total value of over 10,000 billion VND. According to the enterprise, this capital source will serve the implementation of construction items as planned, while contributing to ensuring financial capacity throughout the project development process.

The groundbreaking event was also attended by more than 40 distribution partners along with consulting, financial, and construction units. According to the developer, gathering the partner ecosystem right from the beginning will create a favorable foundation for the subsequent phases of the project, from construction, product development to business implementation and putting the project into operation.
