Sun Group stated that the projects in Phu Quoc will be key components in the resort, entertainment, and infrastructure ecosystem that the developer is building. Among them, Bai Dat Do is oriented to become a coastal hotel city adjacent to Sunset Town. Hon Thom continues to be developed as an international-scale resort and entertainment destination. Also on Hon Thom, the developer is building Rixos Phu Quoc Resort, an all-inclusive resort under the Accor and Ennismore system, which is expected to start operations in the fourth quarter of this year.

The company is also developing Sun PhuQuoc Airways, with Phu Quoc as its hub.
The expansion of the hotel portfolio is expected to help enhance the capacity to welcome international visitors and serve large-scale events, including the APEC Summit 2027.
