The project follows the hilly terrain, using 6 concrete pillars to elevate the main house structure and open up views towards the mountains and forests.

The house has an area of 1,800 m2, located in Nova Lima, Brazil, situated on a plot of land with uneven terrain, surrounded by forests. From this context, the architect team proposed a plan to place the project along the terrain, opening views towards the mountains and minimizing the impact on the landscape.

The main house structure is placed on an existing rocky foundation, extending towards the landscape and creating a sense of detachment from the ground. The layout is divided into 3 wings, each facing a different direction to exploit various viewpoints.

The highlight of the project lies in 6 large, asymmetrically shaped concrete pillars. Instead of concealing the structural system, the design team turned these pillars into the identifying feature of the house.
