Phu Tho: Over 70 hectares of production forest land have been converted for land-use purposes to implement the Ky Son golf course project in Thinh Minh commune.
According to a decision by the Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee, Urban and Commercial Development Investment Joint Stock Company (TUDI) has been permitted to change the purpose of land use for over 70 hectares of land in Thinh Minh commune (formerly part of Hoa Binh City). This production forest land fund was acquired by the investor through land use rights transfer agreements with local households.
Following the conversion, this area is designated as land for physical training and sports facilities, planned for the Ky Son Golf Course project. The investor will pay annual land rent for this area, with the lease term lasting until July 22, 2072.
The Phu Tho Provincial Tax Department is tasked with determining the financial obligations regarding land and registration fees for the enterprise. The Commune People’s Committee will inspect and supervise the project’s construction and implementation process.
The Ky Son Golf Course covers an area of nearly 149 hectares, with a total investment of nearly 1,000 billion VND. The project is expected to feature a 36-hole international standard golf course, with completion scheduled for the second quarter of 2027.
Established in March 2006, Urban and Commercial Development Investment Joint Stock Company (TUDI) is headquartered in Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi. The company is known as the investor of the high-rise office, commercial, and service complex at 11 Lang Ha (Friend’s Tower).
Following mergers involving Vinh Phuc and Hoa Binh, the newly expanded Phu Tho Province has 50 golf courses and golf course clusters totaling over 9,600 hectares. Among these, 7 courses are already operational, while 43 projects are currently under investment construction or seeking investment.
